Unique and beautiful sacramental honoring St. Anne.
St. Anne was the mother of Our Lady, grandmother of Jesus Christ and the wife of St. Joachim. Anne and Joachim had been married for a long time without children. They both prayed for a child. Once as Anne prayed beneath a laurel tree near her home in Galilee, an angel appeared and said to her, "Anne, the Lord hath heard thy prayer and thou shalt conceive and bring forth, and thy seed shall be spoken of in all the world." Anne replied, "As the Lord my God liveth, if I beget either male or female, I will bring it as a gift to the Lord my God; and it shall minister to Him in holy things all the days of its life " And thus Anne became the mother of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
St. Anne's feast day is celebrated on July 26th. She is the patroness of mothers, grandmothers, widows, pregnant women, childless women, Canada and France.
This unique hand cast bronze medal of St. Anne is suspended from a beautiful handmade chaplet bracelet. Ten faceted black Ave beads represent a decade of the rosary and a beautiful brass bead, the Pater bead. The medal is 3/4". On the back of the medal is the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary. The bracelet is adjustable between 7"-8".
This powerful St. Anne sacramental makes a great gift for a mother, grandmother, godmother, Confirmation, birthday, Mothers Day, namesake or anyone with a special devotion to St. Anne. Wear this as a reminder to celebrate St. Anne and what she represents as the mother of Our Lady and the grandmother of Jesus Christ and pray to her for continued blessings and guidance.
DAILY PRAYER TO SAINT ANN
O glorious St. Ann, you are filled with compassion for those who invoke you and with love for those who suffer! Heavily burdened with the weight of my troubles, I cast myself at your feet and humbly beg of you to take the present intention which I recommend to you in your special care.
Please recommend it to your daughter, the Blessed Virgin Mary, and place it before the throne of Jesus, so that He may bring it to a happy issue. Continue to intercede for me until my request is granted. But, above all, obtain for me the grace one day to see my God face to face, and with you and Mary and all the saints to praise and bless Him for all eternity. Amen.
Our Father, . . . Hail Mary . . .
O Jesus, Holy Mary, St. Ann, help me now and at the hour of my death.
Good St. Ann, intercede for me.
