Unique and beautiful sacramental honoring St. Anne.

St. Anne was the mother of Our Lady, grandmother of Jesus Christ and the wife of St. Joachim. Anne and Joachim had been married for a long time without children. They both prayed for a child. Once as Anne prayed beneath a laurel tree near her home in Galilee, an angel appeared and said to her, "Anne, the Lord hath heard thy prayer and thou shalt conceive and bring forth, and thy seed shall be spoken of in all the world." Anne replied, "As the Lord my God liveth, if I beget either male or female, I will bring it as a gift to the Lord my God; and it shall minister to Him in holy things all the days of its life " And thus Anne became the mother of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

St. Anne's feast day is celebrated on July 26th. She is the patroness of mothers, grandmothers, widows, pregnant women, childless women, housewives and Canada..

Unique hand cast bronze medal of St. Anne is suspended from a beautiful handmade chaplet with faceted teal Czech beads representing the Ave beads. The Pater beads are handmade in Africa and the rose divider bead is hand cast in bronze. The chaplet is 10 1/4" long.
